Behavorial Modeling of RF Power Amplifiers
In several projects supported by Lucent Technologies and Motorola
we have developed accurate behavioral models of
power amplifiers to accuratly model the effect of
non-linearities in power amplifiers
such as power gain compression, intermodulation and spectral regrowth.
The accuracy of the amplifier model was verified
by comparing simulated and measured intermodulation using
multitone excitations of various frequencies and power levels.
