RF Radiation Reduction in Triacs and Thyristors
Using PISCES and a circuit simulator
triacs and thyristors operating at room temperature and 200 C
with reduced RF radiation emission
satisfying the European radiations norms
were designed for Beacon.
Four invention disclosures were reported.

Accurate simulation of Electro-Thermal Transient in Thyristors
A novel distributed
electro-thermal model of thyristors for
very accurate transient simulations of power circuits was developed.
The model which uses a physical topology relies on
a table representation using B-Spline for its speed and accuracy.
