Mr. Yunsik Hahn received the 2021 Outstanding Teaching Assistant (TA) award from the ECE Department at the Ohio-State-University.
Yunsik was the TA for both our passive ECE 5017 and active ECE 5027 microwave labs. Prof. and Chair Hesham Elgamal announced the news
in an email to the ECE faculty.
Special Issue
Jan. 22, 2021 Dr. Nicholas Miller of AFRL and Patrick Roblin organized a joint RWW/ARFTG workshop on Friday morning.
About 30 persons attended the 4 hour workshop. The attendees were so engaged that the questions and answers period for the panel lasted 30 more minutes than planed.

P. Roblin participated in ARFTG96 at RWW to give a lecture in the NIST/ARFT short-course and lead the NVNA users's forum.
Nov. 16 and 16 , 2020
Chenyu Liang and Hsiu-Chen Chang PhD defenses were held on-line.
About 30 peoples attended from as far away as China, Sweeden, Portugal, Peru, Mexico, Boston, Boulder, Cedar Rapid as well as OSU.
Both Chenyu and Hsiu-Chen passed with high praises from their committees for their achievements.

Chenyu Liang of OSU presented a paper at RWW 2019 and participated with Prof. Roblin in the RWW "Demo Track"
with the presentation of a
GUI on "Automatic Algorithm for the Direct Design of Asymmetric Doherty Power Amplifiers,"
.
As indicated by the displayed GUI timer, the PA is designed in 15 sec at the package reference planes
and verified in a power seep in 31 sec using OSU nonlinear embedding device model.
