Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum System for ITS applications

We have implemented a Frequency hopping spread spectrum wireless communication system for intelligent transportation system (ITS) application. The goal of the project was to develop a communication subsystem that will provide a mobile wireless link to each vehicle for exchanging data packets containing control information. The packets are exchanged at a fixed rate and with as small an error rate as possible. The system work transparently from the main controller used for control purposes. For detailed information select field test results. (Rizwan Mir, Umit Ozguner, Patrick Roblin)
