C. Emre Koksal -
Research Interests and Sponsors
My research interests span a
number of topics in wireless communication, networking, and
cybersecurity. I typically apply mathematical techniques to
the design of efficient wireless communication as well as
secure data processing systems. I am also implementing and
commercializing the technologies I build. Some of my recent
studies include:
- Wireless communication: Adaptive communication
systems with limited feedback, channel estimation, mmWave
communication systems.
- Information theory: Information theoretic
security
- Cybersecurity: Data security, physical-layer
security, security of vehicular communication systems
- Wireless networking: Network control and
resource allocation, Internet of Things
- Energy management: Energy-efficient
communication schemes, energy harvesting wireless
networks, joint wireless energy and information transfer
- Nano communications and networking: Carbon
Nanotube Antennas, Nanoreceiver design
- Financial economics: Detection and
classification of crises, risk measurement
