· Research interests: Current research topics include investigation of partial discharge in electrical systems for aerospace applications (i.e., in low pressure environments); transmission line grounding safety issues using an electrolytic tank; magnetic fields due to FACTS devices.
· Other research topics include: welding transformer design, magnetic flux density distributions in AC substations (field and laboratory measurements and digital modeling), electric fields in AC substations and in HVDC converter stations, the design and performance of AC substation grounding grids and electric field effects from hybrid transmission lines.
