Ultra-Wideband Software Defined Microwave Radiometer (UWBRAD) Data Site

The Ultra-wideband Software-Defined Microwave Radiometer (UWBRAD) was developed under the support of a NASA Instrument Incubator Program to acquire 0.5-2 GHz measurements of Earth brightness temperatures. A description of the project is available here.

Dataset collected by the instrument are distributed here. These datasets are provided as .mat files. Description of file contents is available here

Calibration and RFI processing of these files remains in process, and there is clear evidence of residual RFI in the datasets. Data from other flights is also currently being processed and will be released when available. Please address any comments or concerns to project PI Joel T. Johnson at johnson.1374@osu.edu.
